Wednesday-Sunday: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

This historic landmark offers a scenic setting, beautiful meadows and various wildlife viewing opportunities to those who enjoy the great outdoors. The ranch was established in 1874, purchased by Spencer Penrose in 1912 who built several of the original structures still standing today. Turkey Creek Ranch offers a unique western atmosphere to its visitors and special services and programs at competitive prices and military discounts.

Fees

• Trail Rides (60 min.): $20.00 for military, $28.00 for civilians
• Pony Rides (10 min.): $4.00
• Camping site per day for tent: $5.00
• Camping site per day for RV: $10.00
• Park Rental per day: $150.00

Special Program of the Summer

Poker Trail Ride on May 22, June 19 & July 17

Come out to the Ranch with your horse and enjoy a day of riding and playing with fellow riders, in search of the best poker hand!

You do not need to know how to play poker but you do need a horse! Participants will ride an easy 11-13 mile long loop, and stop at four locations to draw their cards. Once the route is completed the cards are tallied and the winner with the best poker hand is announced and awarded a prize.

Registration/Check-In: 8:30-9:30 p.m.

Registration Fee: $15 per rider- light lunch included

Ride Time: 10 a.m.

Memorial Day Camper’s Special on May 28-31

Fort Carson’s Turkey Creek Ranch has a great special for all campers during the Memorial Day weekend on May 28-31.

All camping fees will be 50% off the original price-only $5 for RVs and $2.5 for tents.
