Base Grind
  • Smoothes minor scratches and imperfections.
  • Cleans out particulates that have built up on base.
Edge Tuning
  • Removes oxidation, minor burrs, and scratches from edges.
  • Bevels edges for better handling and edge hold in turns.
  • Typically we bevel edges at a 1° base angle and 1° side angle( side angle can be beveled up to a 3° angle on costumer request).
Stone Grinding
  • Allows for better wax absorption and hold.
  • Puts a pattern in the base to channel snow and water out and away from the ski.
  • Better gliding properties.
  • Reduces a convex and concave base by flatting the profile of the base.
