On Belay: Climbing Wall Instruction
This introductory class will cover knots, belay techniques and climbing communication. After completion, you will be certified to climb the indoor climbing wall located at the Outdoor Recreation Center, and be ready to move on with our rock climbing series.
Time: 1730-2100
Dates: every Thursday, except for holidays
Cost: $20
PT Climbing
Looking for something new to do for morning PT? Join us on our indoor or outdoor rock climbing walls to get a great workout while having fun!
Time: Let us know what works for you
Dates: Tuesday-Friday
Cost: $5 per person minimum of 10 people
$50 for a group of 10 or less
Outdoor Rock Instruction: Climb On
Prerequisite: On Belay
Outdoor Rock Instruction: Climb On Come out and join us as APE guides take you into the less traveled realm of the vertical world! Along with the skills you acquired from On Belay, you will be introduced to basic body movements, route selection, and safety on and around rock.

Top Rope Anchors Clinic (Recommended Prerequisite: Outdoor Rock Instruction)
As the third class in our climbing series, the anchors class will give you the information needed to go climbing independently by building your own top rope anchors. You'll learn a bunch on this one!

Lead Climbing Clinic: (Recommended Prerequisite: Outdoor Rock Instruction)
Lead climbing is a great way for individuals to further expand their range of climbing experiences. We will introduce you to traditional as well as sport protection, removal techniques, belaying a leader, route finding, and building lead anchors. APE will ground you in the fundamentals so that you can reach new heights.

Multi-Pitch Climbing: (Recommended Prerequisite: Outdoor Rock Instruction)
This is the pinnacle of our climbing series, where students are exposed to long traditional rock climbs. In this program we teach the importance of efficient movement up rock and ice, gear placement and removal, and belay anchors. This is your chance to experience the joy of climbing on some of the best and most beautiful routes in Colorado.
Dates: Come down to the office and schedule a day that works for you.
Time: 0730 - 1600
Cost: $120 for individuals / $85 per person for group of two or three
