Miami-Yoder encompasses Rush, Yoder and Truckton, with a northern boundary near Judge Orr Road, 45 miles east of Colorado Springs on highway 94.  Miami-Yoder operates on a four-day school week with Mondays off, except where noted on the calendar.  The district has adopted an additional means of assuring each students success while answering the recurring question, “what can I do to help my child?”  Beginning fall 2006, parents were asked to spend 30 minutes per week on mastering a variety of skills to ensure students success.
