Located seven miles southwest of the city of Colorado Springs, Fountain- Fort Carson School District 8 encompasses the City of Fountain, Fort Carson, Rock Creek and nearby rural areas.  From Pre-School to post secondary opportunities, Fountain Fort Carson’s children are served by committed educators who believe student’s achievement at the highest level for all students is their priority.  We provide a range of services such as special education services and gifted services.  Our commitment to Education Technology/Information Literacy is evidenced by the one-to-one laptop computers provided for all high school students.  We are proud to lead the state in closing the minority gap.  Students graduate having the confidence, competence and information needed to make choices for their future in the 21st century.
