Climbing Wall : Fort Carson

Our 60 foot outdoor climbing wall and our 30 foot indoor wall offer sixty feet of vertical problem solving! With numerous routes ranging from novice level to expert, there is a challenge for everyone. Here is a great opportunity to test your patience and persistence while getting a great workout!

Classes & Programs:

"On Belay" Climbing Wall Instruction Classes

This introductory class will teach you knots, belaying techniques and climbing communication. After completion, you will be certified to climb indoor climbing wall located at the Outdoor Recreation Center, and be ready to move on with our rock climbing series.

Time: 1830-2100

PT Climb – 1.5 hours on the Indoor or Outdoor Climbing Wall

Try something new for PT in the morning! Our 30 foot indoor climbing wall or our 60 foot Alpine Tower can be scheduled for units during morning PT. The wall will present a physical and mental challenge for you and your group and can be a great alternative to the normal PT.

Open to Active Duty military, non-profit organizations and corporations.

Cost: $5/person for groups of 10 or more

$50/group of 10 or less

The APE staff is fully committed to develop a program which fits the unique dynamics of your group. We are able to fully customize programs and are happy to develop a program which utilizes more than one of our focus areas.
