Adventure Programs and Education (APE) is all about fun…that goes without saying.  However, our larger goal is to teach the skills necessary to make good decisions for yourself, so you can enjoy the wild for a lifetime. Our programs are structured with the highest regard for quality of instruction and preservation of the environment while striving to stay number one in customer service. 

Adventure Programs & Education offers a broad range of trips and instructional courses for everyone. If you have your own group and would like to schedule a private trip, or a combination of the following courses you see, just give us a call. We do customized trips. Get out and explore fall, winter, spring and summer in a new way.

 

 

Wolf Creek Ski And Soak Weekend

Known for the biggest powder dumps in Colorado, Wolf Creek is a gem tucked into the Colorado Southwest. During the days, we’ll ski both Wolf Creek and Durango resorts. At night, we’ll enjoy dinners downtown and soak ourselves in the luxurious Pagosa Hot Springs!

Dates: Feb. 18-20.

Price: $199 (based on double occupancy)

         $115 (for third and fourth person per room)

Cost includes transportation, lodging, 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches, and 2 nights at the hot springs!

*lift tickets are not included but there are military discounts available at the resorts.

 

 

Ouray Ice Climbing Weekend:  

Located in the Uncompahgre Gorge in Ouray, Colorado, the Ouray Ice Park was the world's first park devoted exclusively to the sport of ice climbing.

Join the APE guides for a weekend of world-class ice climbing, while staying in the town of Ouray digesting all this unique mountain town has to offer. A trip you won't soon forget!

 Winter Youth Adventure Camp: Ages 11-16

Off from school?  Don’t get stuck at home, come have some fun in the snow for three days. We will ski/snowboard at a resort, ice climb, and snowshoe all over the great state of Colorado.   Sign up early as this program fills every year!
